Students applying to the Cellular and Molecular Pathology graduate program can be directly admitted into a CMP trainer’s laboratory if that trainer agrees to serve as the student’s major professor. However, direct admit students still must meet the application requirements for the CMP program and be accepted by the Recruitment Committee. Direct admit students do not rotate and the major professor funds their appointment throughout their graduate study.
